The Route 66 is as big as any original T-Bag, with 1.82 cu. ft. capacity, but instead of backpack-style straps, it comes with a sturdy telescoping handle and glides smoothly on high quality ball bearing blade type wheels. The handle disappears into its own hidden pocket. Youll get convenient cargo loading through either a top opening or full side opening. An internal organizer keeps small items accessible, plus theres an external flat pocket (great for maps or tickets) and 4 roomy side pockets for small items. The Route 66 is built with 1680d nylon and insulated with high density closed-cell foam. The built-in bungee bottom external rain cover offers all-weather protection and is designed to fit when the saddle roll (sold separately) is attached as a top roll. The rigid bottom will not sag it maintains its shape even when empty. Like the other great T-Bag products, the Route 66 features a patent-pending universal expandable mounting system that fits any backrest up to 14" wide. Theres no velcro here. The snug, secure fit is accomplished with an ingenious loop and zipper system that looks as good as it works. If you change your backrest, theres no need to buy another bag this one will fit! Dimensions are 20" tall, 16-1/2" wide and 9-1/2" deep without saddle roll. The saddle roll , (sold separately) is 16-1/2" wide and 9" in diameter. Luggage rack is required.
