Windshields / Fairing SELECT YOUR MAKE & MODEL
BEFORE CHOOSING A PART ![]() Motorcycle riders should be able to see over their windshields. But in order to do this and still get ample protection, the windshield must reach up between the tip and the bridge of a riders nose. If it doesn't, a rider will experience mild to severe buffeting. Have a friend hold a tape measure from just above the headlight on the same angle as a windshield would be. While you sit on the bike looking ahead have your friend extend the tape upwards until it just starts to block your vision. Then simply order a windshield one or two inches shorter than the length measured on the tape. âRemember if you are looking through your windshield when it rains you are like a car with no wiper blades!â |
