All K&N spin-on filters feature a heavy duty can with a 17mm nut affixed onto the end: this nut allows easy installation and removal, and is also cross drilled so racers can safely wire it to their bike

Other features included a new silicon rubber anti-drain back valve, an improved pressure relief, a strong inner core and a heavy duty base plate with improved roll seal
